Fall/Winter things
Posted by: | CommentsReplaced the broken drive cable on the snowblower, oil check, and tire check. Put up the lights outside and setup the tree inside. Also moved some old stuff from the living room to the basement. Moved some outside furniture to the shed and the backside of the house to clear an open space in the front. Had a repairman fix the dryer.

Had to get a picture of this.

Saw this in the morning on the way to work. It was still there on the way home and figured I should grab a picture of it before someone tears it down. I used to think this only happened in the movies, but will keep an eye on it until the Nazis tear it down.

Gerbing T5 gloves failed
Posted by: | CommentsWell that was a pain in the hands to ride home on a very rainy day with one glove working and the other one NOT. Wet and cold on the left hand and dry and warm on the other. Calling the Gerbing support line wasn’t a lot of help, let it dry out in a couple of days, test it again, then call and get an RMA to send it back for them to look at. Turn around time is 4 weeks!! With winter rolling in (hitting the upper 30’s now). Not having warn thoughts about the winter. Headed over to MCC (Montgomeryville Cycle Center), to browse the inventory. Picked up a pair of G3’s, ran to Walmart to get some Kiwi spray to waterproof these gloves and head home. More rain is the call for tomorrow and will see how that goes with the replacement.
Gerbing heated clothing.
Posted by: | CommentsI picked up some more Gerbing clothing from Montgomeryville Cycle Center. A heated jacket liner, dual controller. The gloves, T5, I had picked up a couple of weeks ago from a sale at Dean’s Harley-Davidson to wear and get used to for the winter time. Since they’re (whoever ‘they’ are) calling for a heavy and colder winter, I figured I would try the electric route for riding in this season.

Parents in town.
Posted by: | CommentsMy parents were in town passing through and took us and the in-laws out to dinner for Jenny’s birthday (a bit in advance). Chinese it was.
