Camper dropped off for inspection and some work
Posted by: | CommentsI dropped the camper off and the dealer/shop to have it’s annual inspection, check the roof for cracks, and look at the fridge, which has been acting funny lately. The switch over from electric to propane is not working correctly or the light on the refrigerator is wrong. The check gas light keeps blinking when we hitch up to hit the road. I’ve done the usual procedures to turn on a burner or turn the heater on to clear the gas line of any air bubble that may be blocking the line, but not 100 percent of the time has it been working lately.
Lacie disk for Time Machine problem
Posted by: | CommentsI started seeing errors on the server that the Lacie disk that I use for a Time Machine was having some issues. Disabled Time Machine, removed the disk and ran the disk utility against the disk. It reported no errors, reattached it to the server and turned Time Machine back on. All seems well, but will have to watch it for some time to just make sure.
Pool party at Ed and Pam’s house
Posted by: | CommentsWent to a pool party at Ed and Pam’s house and it couldn’t have happened at better time with the temperature starting to rise into the mid 90’s it was great. Everybody had fun and was worth the sunburn that I got, lol. Sorry I didn’t take any photos of the event.
Camping at Otter Lake
Posted by: | CommentsWe went camping at Otter Lake this weekend. Let on Friday, 30-May-08 and returned this Sunday. Very nice campground. If the girls didn’t have school on Monday, I would have stayed another day. The access road (7 miles) long is hell, like narrow and winding, it’s not fun during the day and I can only say I wouldn’t want to drive it at night. 5 families went there, Rogers, Scialdone, Walters, Mehaffey and Petersons. Some rain happened on Saturday, but it was okay and only heavy for a short time or rather just enough to put out the campfires for cooking dinner on <grin>. Have pictures to post but haven’t dumped the camera yet.
